1. About PawConnect
PawConnect Australia provides an online directory and connection platform only. We connect pet owners with independent dog walkers, sitters and pet carers. We are not a pet care provider, agency or employer and we are not a party to any arrangement made between users.
2. No vetting or verification
PawConnect does not employ, supervise, endorse, certify, background check, police check, identity verify, insure or guarantee any carer or their services. All credentials, checks, insurance and other indicators shown on profiles are self-submitted by users and displayed as supplied, unless we expressly state otherwise. 3. User responsibilities
Carers are responsible for ensuring the information they list is accurate, current and not misleading, and for holding any registrations, qualifications or insurance they choose to advertise. Owners are responsible for evaluating carers, making their own enquiries and deciding whether to engage them. Any arrangement is solely between the owner and the carer.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to post false, misleading or unlawful content, impersonate others, or misuse the platform. We may remove listings or content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawConnect accepts no liability for the conduct of any user or for any service, arrangement, loss, injury, damage or dispute arising between owners and carers. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
